Three things you must know before you create a piggy.
La Hucha is non-custodial. That means we don't hold your money for you. The whole power and the whole risk live in one tiny string: your private key. Take a minute to understand what that means.
Your key is your piggy.
When you click create, your browser generates a fresh Bitcoin SV keypair — a public address (the piggy) and a private key (the only way to spend the sats inside). The key appears once on the screen. Save it before continuing. Lose it = lose the sats forever, no exceptions.
We can't recover anything.
There is no "forgot password". There is no support team that can restore your piggy. We literally never see your key — it never leaves your browser. If you delete it without backup, the sats are stuck on chain forever, visible to everyone but spendable by no one.
Anyone with the key controls the piggy.
Treat it like cash. Don't paste it in chats. Don't email it to yourself. Don't store it in plain text on a shared computer. A password manager (1Password, Bitwarden, Apple Keychain) or a printed paper kept in a safe place are good options.
